Euphemism and Dysphemism
« on: November 26, 2014, 08:45:26 PM »
Good day, everyone!  :)
My name's Meta, and I'm doing my BA-thesis as an English Department student. And I'd like to ask for help here.
I'm analysing Dyphesims implied in Fish Tank film, and I really need theory about its types and function.
Does anyone here happen to have a book or e-book or pdf from Keith Allan and Kate Burridge entitledEuphemism & Dysphemism: Language Used as Shield and Weapon ?
Thank you so much in advance.

Sorry, but we can't help with that here. Please don't make requests that would violate copyright on the forum.

Dysphemism? Wow... I didn't even realise there existed such a word. Awesome!
