Rise in hate speech and humialtion on social media

Hey Guys, I am interested to Investigate the rising trend of hate speech and humiliation on social media and gender stereotyping for my doctoral studies, will appreciate some input. as am a bit lost how to frame it and narrow it down.  Thanks.

That sounds interesting. If you are investigating the rise of it, I assume you want to look at the information diachronically, and you need a way of measuring or specifics to look out for the emergence of etc. I've seen a few articles on everydayfeminism.com about the use of naked photos to shame people - there might be useful sources there. Maybe analyse a corpus or do Twitter searchers of terms?
