Hypertexting
« on: October 19, 2014, 11:35:55 PM »
In making the reader understand better I hypertext using points within the sentence and words. Could this make the reader understand what they are reading better? Paul

Your question is unclear. How this this related to Linguistics or to Semantics and Pragmatics?

I love the English language, but hate the way some people use it. In hypertexting, the writer uses each word as a point word to make their writing understood. I do not care if the word has any history except to give information or knowledge to the reader. If the writer is using writing or language as a art form, then how to use language correctly is a art form within itself. Paul

How is this relevant to linguistics, and what is a 'point word'?

One pill makes you larger And one pill makes you small And the ones that Mother gives you Don't do anything at all. Go ask Alice When she's ten feet tall.

Concerning Hypertexing or Html. Both are languages. If the reader can't understand what the writer wrote then I search for a relative artical to embed into the writing so the writer and reader can understand where the writer is coming from. Thoughts? Paul

A point word is a html point.

There is not such thing.

Concerning Hypertexing or Html. Both are languages.

HTML is a markup language, it is not for communication.
