Okay, just finished watching it. It was good, but sadly not academically enriching enough to keep my absolute attention. It'd be great for the average Joe with a slight interest in the topic, who the show was undoubtedly designed for. The story of how LSN became ISN is an amazing one and that show really did a good job at giving a jumbled and unsatisfactorily confusing interpretation (from the perspective of having had different explanations which were better), which was slightly disappointing. I thought Pinker was far too conservative in his segments, but maybe he was told to be by the producers, to keep it at a layman level. Pinker's approach in his books shows he has a good talent to present this sort of stuff in a brilliantly intriguing manner, whether you side with him on his philosophical standpoint or not. Still, can't argue with the fact that it's great a show like that was made, and directed a pretty big section of the show to language.
