"Good day, everyone!

My name's Meta, and I'm doing my BA-thesis as an English Department student. And I'd like to ask for help here.
I'm analysing Dyphesims implied in Fish Tank film, and I really need theory about its types and function.
Does anyone here happen to have a book or e-book or pdf from Keith Allan and Kate Burridge entitledEuphemism & Dysphemism: Language Used as Shield and Weapon ?
Thank you so much in advance."
This is how 'meta' started the thread on Dyphesims and Euphemisms. I believe that in e forums wherein people try to be helpful or ask for help, they still want to be polite but casual about it. This, I believe, is the reason why 'smileys' are prevalent whether they are at the beginning, middle or end part of the text. People are trying to convey emotions within their text thus, use 'smileys'; since e forums are not classified as formal then, it is safe to say that using 'smileys' are acceptable and very much welcome.
