I always feel like cringing every time I see some meticulous analysis on a subject like rap or hip hop. This was no exception.

Haha, what's that? I don't care much about the subject matter, but the analysis is reasonable and it's an interesting case of a media-introduced word that has spread, I suppose. I can't say I don't have a similar reaction though.
