This morpheme attaches to Nouns to mean "this one among others".
eg.
she-ONE.AMONG.MANY 3S-1O-hit
'She hit me' (as I point her out amongst a group of other women)
she 3S-1O-hit
She hit me. (normal usage, I relate an event in the past)
Also:
this-ONE.AMONG.MANY be mine
'this one is mine' (as I select out of a group of other similar things)
this be mine
'this is mine' (normal usage, I am just telling you that the thing belongs to me)
In all my years of work (very few!!!!) I never saw anything like this.
Does anyone have any idea of what it could be? Any x-linguistic example of some suffix it resembles?
Arrrrgh fun but confusing.
Thanks y'all
