Title: Creating your own symbols/characters?

I tried Private Character Editor to create character for my fictional language but it is not of good quality and doesn't let me use the characters. Anyone know something that could work for me?

...but doesn't the IPA already cover a majority of pronounceable speech sounds? I can't imagine that this wheel needs to be reinvented. Since we already have a system in place, why would you want to complicate and obfuscate things?

My suggestion is to use what is already in place. Spread the word of something that is easily implementable and widely accepted.
