Dear all,
I study Psycholinguistics and I am preparing materials for my MA research project. In order to make sure that the stimuli I have collected so far are fine, I need to test them first on the native speakers of English.
As I live in Poland, I kindly ask you to help me with this challenging task and take the following surveys. I will be extremely grateful.

Completing them doesn’t take much time, promise.
I hope you will enjoy them and make some interesting observations for your research as well.
Please, feel free to pass the link to anybody who could be interested in taking the survey as well.
Thanks a lot in advance!
Best,
Kaja

Hi Kaja and welcome!
Please do not post multiple copies of the same thread. I've moved this one to the right sub-forum and removed the others. This is appropriate here, though! I hope it helps!

Hi Kaja,
I started to take the first survey but stopped as it's really cognitively taxing, and a bit boring... there are so many examples!
Also it is hard to do this on a 7 point scale. I've never thought about two word phrases and how metaphorical they are, and on what scale... so it's quite a request to make someone do that so many times!
Maybe it would be better to simplify the test so that you are only asking 5 or 6 examples to each person, and maybe on a 5 point scale? I dont think the resolution going any higher is meaningful - I wanted to put every example as a 6, 'metaphorical'.
I'm not sure if something can be more metaphorical than something else - is it not just binary?
