Welcome to Linguist Forum. A few comments:

1. We won't do homework for you. Asking a limited, specific question may be appropriate in some cases, but asking "how do I do my homework" or, roughly, "what is the answer" will not be. Your question is somewhere between these two.
2. Stylistics is, broadly, not necessarily part of linguistics. So I don't know how much of your homework is related to the things we could help you with at all. I don't really have any idea what your homework is about, because I'm not taking your class. It looks like it is about word choice, but I don't know what topics are expected or permitted. -- all I can really help with is to define "lexical" for you-- that means "the meaning/properties of words in your lexicon [mental dictionary]"-- in other words, the properties of individual words. (Lexical is different from grammatical.)
3. Your textbook and/or lecture notes should contain the basics. You should start by figuring out what you don't know, and what you want to know more about.
4. In the future, please post in the appropriate section (the "feedback, help, and forum policy" section is about the forum, not about linguistics, like if you need help using the forum), use a descriptive title. I'd move this to an appropriate section, but I don't really know where it should go, again because the topic is unclear and because I'm not sure what 'stylistics' means in this case, and how it overlaps with linguistics-- maybe semantics and pragmatics?
