Applecart?
« on: January 14, 2014, 02:18:35 AM »
What is the idiom/rhyme used here: http://youtu.be/50uLeIvGtMs?t=3m55s

— (1)
— (2)
— Whose your friend?
— Him!

It sounds like "applecart", but that doesn't seem right. Is this an idiom/rhyme you are familiar with? What is the meaning and how is it used?

(EDIT)

Also, is there an English term for what is left after you've eaten an apple?

Donald duck says "apple core", which is the word we use for what's left after we eat an apple :)  I think Dale then repeats it - no idiom or rhyme, just 'point and say' :)

Ah! I thought it was something similar to "Marco? Polo!" :D

Apple core, right! Neither Donald nor Dale are particularly "clear", so it can be a little difficult to make out the words if you don't know it ;)

Yeah!  I could understand Donald, and then Dale seemed to repeat it but I had to give it another lesson - funny enough I wouldn't have understood what he said next if you hadn't already written it here!!
